These terms are the agreement between you and us about using Navori. "We" and "us" means the person who runs Navori, named in our Privacy Policy. By creating an account you accept these terms. Please read them together with our community guidelines for activities and chats, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Navori

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your sign-in to yourself. Don't sell, lend or hand over your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or on our delete account page; the Privacy Policy explains what is removed and what is kept.

3. What you post

What you post stays yours. To run Navori, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, free licence to store, copy, show and adapt it (for example to resize a photo or translate a message), only so we can provide and improve the service and show it to the people you shared it with.

The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the Privacy Policy explains that something stays: messages in shared chats (shown as "Deleted user"), guides you published, and place photos we accepted.

Only post what you have the right to post. Don't post other people's private information or photos of them without their permission.

4. Community rules

On Navori you may not:

Voice chats have their own short rules, shown before you join one for the first time. While you speak in a voice chat we keep a temporary recording of your voice for safety, as our Privacy Policy describes; people who only listen are never recorded.

The activity and chat guidelines go into more detail.

5. How we moderate

We use automated checks and our own review, as described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy. When something breaks these rules we can remove it, limit what the account can do for a while, lock the account, or close it. Serious reports, involving physical or sexual harm, threats, stalking or anyone under 18, are never decided by automation alone.

Where the law requires it, or where someone's life or safety is at risk, we report to the relevant authorities. We always report sexual content involving a child.

6. Restrictions

A decision that you broke a rule counts as a violation. The restriction is limited to where it happened and follows a fixed ladder:

Where it happened1st time2nd time3rd time and after
Messages and voice rooms24 hours without sending messages or speaking7 days30 days
Your profile (name, photo, bio)7 days without changing that part30 days90 days
Posts, journals, guides, activities, channels7 days without posting or creating there30 days90 days
Something that happened in person, confirmed30 days without creating or joining activities30 days30 days

Each violation also costs karma: 5, then 10, then 20 points.

You can see your decisions, your current limits and your counts in the app, in Settings › Account status.

7. Appeals

You can appeal every decision once, in the app, until 30 days after the restriction ends. We answer within 30 days. The restriction stays while we look again. Appeals are decided by us, never by automation. If you were right, everything comes back: the content, your access and your karma.

If you are in the EU, you can also take a decision to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, or to court.

8. Reporting

You can report a person, a message, a photo, a post, a journal, a guide, an activity, a channel or something that happened in person, from the screen where you see it. We tell you what we decided. We never tell the other person who reported them.

Without the app, anyone can report illegal content on Navori at navori.app/report.

Reports must be honest. If many of your reports turn out to be unfounded, it costs karma, and reports made in bad faith can lead to restrictions.

9. Meeting people

Activities are organised by the people who use Navori, not by us. We don't check who people are or what they plan, and we can't supervise meetings. Read our safety advice before you meet anyone, and contact local emergency services if you are in danger.

10. Our responsibility

We work to keep Navori available and safe, but we provide it as it is and can't promise it will always work without interruption or errors. We are not responsible for what other people post or do, on Navori or when you meet them, except where the law says we are.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you more protection, those protections still apply to you, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

13. Contact

safety@navori.app is our single point of contact for authorities and for users under Articles 11 and 12 of the EU Digital Services Act. You can write to us in English or Turkish.
